On Friday, November 27th, over the long Thanksgiving weekend, students from LAMP participated in a community service project incentive began by Superintendent, Mr. Alberto Carvalho and Mr. Robert Zuckerman, to participate in a day of benevolence.
Students volunteered their time at Holtz Children's Hospital at Jackson Memorial, to participate in a morning of arts and crafts with pediatric patients from the cancer ward.
Patients, parents, nurses and staff all came in to participate in making snowmen and elves out of craft rolls, gingerbread paper plate crafts and painting canvases to create a quilt.
