Summer Academy for High School Students  July 5 - August 5 The Summer Academy for High School Students is the definitive summer program for talented and motivated young artists. Rigorous, college-level studio courses in drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking and illustration are supplemented with field trips to museums and galleries in Philadelphia, New York and Washington D.C. The program culminates in a student exhibition in PAFA's museum - the first art museum in America! One-Week High School Intensives  June 27 - August 12    Intensive courses offer teens the valuable opportunity to develop and hone their skills under the guidance of PAFA faculty. All levels welcome. Sculpture, June 27 - July 1 Drawing, July 5 - 9 Drawing for Comics, July 11 - 15 Painting I: Still Life and Portrait, July 11 - 15 Painting II: The Figure, July 18 - 22 Illustration with Kate Samworth: July 18 - 22 Landscape Painting: July 25 - 29 Watercolor: August 1 - 5 Printmaking: August 8 - 12
