REVIEW: Night of the Living Dead by Zoraida Haibi Figuera

As one of the newest members of the Braddock family and Academy of the Visual and Performing Arts, I had the pleasure to experience one of Drama's best performances.  I have never heard a group of students act and SING so well together!  As an audience member I was in awe of how amazing this ensemble of students sounded.  The characters were not only on the stage, but everywhere!  The characters came out from the audience and side doors, which added a different ambiance to the atmosphere.

KUDOS, to the students
KUDOS, to Jack and Mom for an amazing job and dedication to put on such a FANTASTIC production.

REVIEW: Night of the Living Dead by Mary A. Milan, Social Studies Teacher

Dear Braddock Family,

I attended Braddock Theatre Arts’ presentation of George Romero’s “Night of the Living Dead – In Concert” last night. Let me just say, I cannot say enough good things about this production! I HIGHLY Recommend it. Put whatever plans you have for tonight or tomorrow night aside to make an effort to see this AMAZING production that features all original music written by Jack Mezzano!

Aside from the fantastic music and fun storyline, the set designs, costuming and make up are wonderful, but these pale when compared to the absolutely UNFORGETTABLE performances by the Theatre Arts  students. The cast was absolutely thrilling to watch! It was less like watching a high school production and more like watching one at the Actor’s Playhouse or Arsht Center!

The cost of the tickets is only $7 which is one of the best values you will get for your money in recent history. Please make an effort to attend and encourage your students to do so also! Only two nights left!

 Thank you!
