Braddock students visits Holtz Children's Hospital

On Friday, November 27th, over the long Thanksgiving weekend, students from LAMP participated in a community service project incentive began by Superintendent, Mr. Alberto Carvalho and Mr. Robert Zuckerman, to participate in a day of benevolence. 


Students volunteered their time at Holtz Children's Hospital at Jackson Memorial, to participate in a morning of arts and crafts with pediatric patients from the cancer ward. 


Patients, parents, nurses and staff all came in to participate in making snowmen and elves out of craft rolls, gingerbread paper plate crafts and painting canvases to create a quilt.

Braddock's 4th Annual Curriculum Expo

Wednesday, November 4th, Braddock showcased their magnet and academy programs, at the 4th Annual Curriculum Expo.

All the clubs and programs exhibited their highlights, accomplishments and features during the evening, which included elementary and middle school performances and displays in our feeder pattern.









Nate Dee visits Braddock for talks about Art, Networking and Integrity

Urban artist and muralist, Nate Dee stopped by Braddock Senior High, Tuesday, November 3rd to speak with students, faculty and staff in regards to working as an artist in South Florida.

He spoke about his life and interests in the arts since he was a child, in addition to how his career as an artist and muralist started.

Afterwards, Nate Dee made time to sign copies of his artwork and advised students on their own body of works.
