Braddock Blue Regiment cleans up at FMBC

On Saturday, November 18th, the Braddock Blue Regiment competed at FMBC state semi finals at Tropicana Field in St Petersberg, FL.

G. Holmes Braddock are one of the top 10 bands in the state! This weekend they tied 8th place overall out of 18 bands in class 3A.

The color guard came in 2nd place out of 18 bands.

This year Braddock has 34 seniors in our marching band, making history within the last 20 years with that many seniors!




First Annual Breast Cancer 5K

AVPA participated at the First Annual 5K for Breast Cancer, Saturday, November 18th.  The event was hosted by Medical Science Honor Society, with the assistance of PTSA raising funds for the breast cancer research foundation.
Students, faculty, staff and community members participated in this first annual event, through the direction of Dr. Steiner and his club officers.

Braddock wins big in the 32nd Annual “Impressions in Watercolor” Student Art Exhibition

Talking with artist, Natasha Morris and "Zines"

In case you missed it...

LAMP sponsored their first visiting artist and workshop of the year with an amazing turn-out!

Metalsmith, Natasha Morris, came to Braddock on Thursday, November 2nd, to talk about her art and life as a working artist after college and how to market yourself.

Afterwards, participants were able to take part in making their own "Zines" with the artist herself.

AVPA shines at Curriculum Expo

On Wednesday, November 1, 2017, Braddock Senior High School had their annual Curriculum Expo, which showcases our school's programs and activities.  

Our new Drama teacher and Braddock's Rookie Teacher of the Year, Miss Laura Pons, joined the Academy this year, showcasing the Theater Department in glamour and style.


The art department received enthusiastic remarks about the new murals around campus and interior hallways of the art wing.







The Visions Dancers wowed the crowd in the Auditorium with three performances, as well as the Band captivating the audience in the gymnasium.
